April 26 International Intellectual Property Day Event

On April 26, 2023, the 23rd World Intellectual Property Day was celebrated. To encourage the accelerated transformation and industrialization of high-value patent achievements and promote high-quality development, the company invited the well-known technology innovation information service provider, Suzhou PatSnap (PatSnap), to organize a patent search training session titled “Leveraging Patent Intelligence to Support R&D Innovation.”

During the training, the instructor focused on the core topic of “Application of Patent Intelligence in R&D Innovation.” Using our company’s actual R&D activities as examples, the instructor explained techniques and methods to help participants further master and improve their patent search and reading skills. This enhanced the company’s ability to tackle two primary challenges in R&D: risk control in project pre-research and approval, and breakthroughs in key technologies. Additionally, for topics of interest such as technical challenges and competitors, the instructor demonstrated database search techniques and analysis functions designed for non-IP professionals, effectively addressing common issues such as “difficult-to-use search tools” and “hard-to-read patent literature.”

This event not only deepened our business departments’ understanding of the importance of intellectual property but also enhanced the company’s ability to avoid patent infringement risks and optimize the allocation of innovation resources. It provides stronger support for leveraging high-value patents to drive high-quality development in the future.
